About Us
With my wife Rae, I have been involved in the motor, finance and insurance industries for over 40 years.
We have owned and operated our own dealerships, Bower Honda (Motorcycles) in Nelson and Colin Bower Cars (Kia and Daihatsu) on Auckland's North Shore. I have had considerable experience managing franchise dealerships including ten years as branch manager of Kirk Motors North Shore and helped set up Kia Motors NZ dealer network as National Sales and Marketing Manager.
Since moving to the Bay of Plenty in 2003, we have specialised in finance and insurance including leasing, establishing 'Colin Bower Finance & Lease' in May 2007.
We branched into business and personal risk insurance and in 2009 joined with Planwise group so my clients could benefit from the superb systems and back-up of this innovative and well respected BOP company.
When not busy looking after my clients finance and insurance need's, we get away on road trips on our Harley and sometimes even manage to squeeze in a few rounds of golf.
